Rastafari is the name of the religion of the Rastafarian people. People often refer to it as “Rastafarianism” but this is not its rightful name. Second, “Rastafari” is not a “Religion” Rastafari is a way of life, a love for God, a commitment to truth. Rastafarian flag in some respects, now represents reggae music culture, and also represents, Jamaica. The Rastafarian flag also means a person who identifies with Rastafari and the love and unity preached by Mr.Bob Marley. The colors of the rasta flag stripes are red gold and green, or red yellow and green depending on how you see it. These are also the same colors depicted on the Ethiopian flag. Here is the break color down… • red stands for – The blood shed of the african people •gold stands for - all the gold and riches that once rested in the earth in africa but exists no longer •green stands for – the lush green nature of the african land •The rastafarian flag represents love creation and unity, buy your Rastafari flag, click here. or visit www.rasta-flags-shop.com Some call this flag a reggae flag because of its associations with Bob Marley and Rasta. But the actual jamaican flag is alot different from the Rastafarian flag. The jamaican flgg has a big yellow x int he middle and its colors are black yellow and green. These flags are not the same, however they are closely related. Rastafarian beliefs are not something every rasta looked up in a book and made conscious decision to follow. Want to know the really cool thing about Rastafari beliefs. Every rasta pretty much has the same beliefs, like I said not educated on the subject. But, yet somehow we all believe the same thing. You could even find this out by meeting one Rasta, and asking him or her a question, and meet another rasta, and find that 9/10 you will get the same answer. Isnt that cool. All our beliefs are from what we feel inside, spiritually When a Rasta man or Rasta woman says “Jah Rastafari” we are paying respect to the Most High. Because we know the Most High created everything. So, we must give our thanks and praises. Most Rasta pay respect to Emperor Hallie Selassie I the first. Rastafari Jah! You see…and just for the fact of that. I give thanks and praise. Jah Rastafari!!!! Many people are very curious about this religion, and want to know how to join. There isnt really anything to join. Rastafari is about love, uinty, and harmony amongst all nations. If you want to convert to Rastafari, all it takes is love in your heart and deep love and commitment to follow God. Rasta people bring peace and harmony to the world, trough music, art and other forms of creation. To find out more check my blog jamaicanrastafarianlove.com Rasta Flags, Rastafarian Flags
